Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as an obsession with the genre. After earning some recognition on the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) and began her write reviews in late 2009. The website remained online till the start of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts, one that covers the Charmed franchise and the other co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The program reviews grotesque movies geared towards children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult comedy. She started reviewing movies late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to join the reviewer community.
