Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents gave birth to her in the Philippines on the 9th of February, 1997. Her mother was living in slums with her biological parents until the age of 3. Her adoption was later completed. The parents she adopted are American white who has military experience and her mother is Filipino. She claims that she and her adopted brother that she was with were subject to abuse by their adoptive parents from when she was young until the time that she joined the military. Her family and she moved to Texas at the age of thirteen because her father was undergoing bypass surgery. They spent a few days living in San Francisco with her aunt. The physical abuse ceased, but she was still subject to abuse her psychologically her at home. Poarch was a member of at the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch launched her TikTok account in April 2020 quickly gaining fame and amassing over 40 million users in less than eight months. Her biggest success was her video for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. Her zoomed-in clip of rhythmically jumping and lip-syncing to the melody made the rounds and was one of the top TikTok video clips of all time. Following her joining TikTok she launched her own YouTube as well as a Twitter account to capitalize on her popularity. Poarch's fame peaked around December of 2020. She reportedly piqued the interest of two big professional Esports teams. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves each expressed interest in bringing on the creator of the content as part of their brand.
